We all have those bucket list courses that we would do anything to play. But would you fork out over $1,000 to play it in the rain?
Well Rick (@Top100Rick) did just that at TPC Sawgrass.
In the thread below, he shares the ups and downs of playing at a bucket list course. From unpredictable weather and slow pace of play to the ultimate question of whether it’s worth the $1,000 investment.
So yesterday I paid $1000+ to play golf at the legendary TPC Sawgrass and it’s famous island green #17.— Rick Golfs (@Top100Rick) November 16, 2023
Was it worth it?
What do you get for that price?

The million-dollar question – or in this case, $1,000 – was it worth it?
Well Rick unequivocally says, “For me, 100% yes.” Playing a bucket list course with three of his oldest friends and realising a dream from his younger days of playing $30 muni courses, he feels blessed that life allowed them this experience.
The good news is, it doesn’t have to cost this much to play one of the best golf courses in the world.
We collated the best tee times we could find at the UK & Ireland Top 100 golf courses where you can play them for as little as £20!
