Course overview
Nottingham City Golf Club is situated in Bulwell Hall Park (the golf course is actually known as Bulwell Hall Golf Course). Conveniently located close to the M1, junction 26, it’s within easy reach of the city of Nottingham.
It’s one of the oldest courses in Nottinghamshire, originally opening in 1910 on 100 acres of beautiful parkland.
The Bulwell Hall Golf Course was designed by Tom Williamson who actually lived in Bulwell and was responsible for a number of golf course designs in Nottinghamshire such as Retford Golf Club.
At 6,097 yards, it’s not the longest by any stretch, but with a par 69, it plays a little longer than you’d think. And much like Williamsons other designs, you can expect cunningly placed hazards ready to catch you out!
Today, the location rivals many other parkland courses for natural beauty. Each hole is unique and set out on 260 acres of land with mature trees that provide a colourful backdrop to your round.
The club has a significant and friendly membership. It’s open to golfers of all abilities and members, green fees, students and societies can expect a warm welcome 7-days a week. With memberships starting from as little as £200 and green fees from £5, you’ll struggle to find better value golf anywhere in the county!
Nottingham City Golf Club has big plans for the future with development of a city wide training academy, a new par 3 course and garden pavilion for events. All designed to keep Bulwell Hall as a leading golfing venue in Nottinghamshire.
