Course overview
Cockermouth Golf Club is situated 3 miles east of Cockermouth town. It’s a moorland style golf course with fantastic views of the Cumbrian countryside and a friendly clubhouse for a post round drink or bite to eat.
Famous golf architect James Braid was responsible for the design at Cockermouth Golf Club. It’s not the longest track, but it does have some excellent holes, including the signature hole 10th which is a par-4 dogleg. If you miss the fairway, you can find your ball at the bottom of a cliff!
Overall it’s a great test of golf for golfers of all abilities. The course makes a great stop for golf in the Lake District or in wider Cumbria.
