Course overview
Sandford Springs is set amongst beautiful rolling hills of Watership Down on the A339 in Hampshire between Newbury and Basingstoke. As you navigate the course, you’re greeted by spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
The club has a unique 27 holes layout, consisting of a trio of testing nine hole loops, The Park, The Woods and The Lakes, each with their own challenge.
The Parks is probably the most forgiving and, more suitable for the novice golfer. The Woods nine has tight tree lined fairways combined with stunning views from some of the elevated tees. Whilst the Lakes is arguably the most challenging of the three nines, requiring both distance and accuracy.
Aside from the stunning golf courses, the club offers a 250 yard covered driving range with 8 bays, well-stocked Pro-Shop, friendly clubhouse and fantastic food menu.
With excellent irrigation, the club rarely use temporary greens or implements trolley bans. The fact that the course also plays full-length through the winter makes this an excellent option all year round.
