Course overview
Henbury Golf Club is a mature parkland course located in Henbury, next to Blaise Castle, less than 10 miles from the centre of Bristol.
The course is one of the oldest in the region, having been founded back in 1891. It identifies itself as a friendly members' golf course, but extends a warm welcome to visitors both during the week and at weekends with a range of green fee options.
It’s also recognised as one of the friendliest clubs in the area with an active golf and social calendar. They also host a number of golf societies that go back year after year.
The course itself is not long by modern standards, but it throws a number of challenges at you throughout the round. Surrounded by mature woodland, it demands accurate tee shots and the small, well-guarded greens provide another aspect to the challenge. It’s a place to enjoy a round of golf any time of the year and will provide a true test for golfers of all abilities.
After your round, the clubhouse and terrace overlooking the course is just perfect setting for a drink on a summer’s day and bite to eat. The club prides itself on the quality of the catering and range of food available.
