Course overview
Founded in 1864 as North Devon and West of England Golf Club before changing names in 1910 to Royal North Devon, the club is officially the oldest golf course in England and widley regarded as the St Andrews of the South. The course was orignally designed by Old Tom Morris and hasn't changed too much over the years. The original layout and terrain have been maintained to be as natural as possible making it a true links experience with hard fast fairways and greens. The club is regarded in high esteem having held the British Amateur on two occasions.
