Course overview
Ballyliffin Golf Club offers everything expected of an Irish golfing trip. The two links courses are challenging and if there’s a blustery breeze from the Atlantic it will be sure to keep you on your toes. There are a host of local hotels and pubs for you close at hand, all offering the heartiest of Irish welcomes.
Located in County Donegal on the Northern tip of the Irish Republic, Ballyliffin hosts two courses. The Old Links course offers championship standard links golf, making full use of the undulating dunes. The Glashedy Links is the more recent course, having only been completed in 1995. The challenging design has established the course as a firm favourite, evidenced by the array of professional tournaments it has hosted, culminating in gaining Rory McIlroy’s approval for hosting the 2018 Irish Open.
If the challenge of some of the finest links holes in world golf gets the better of you, you can be sure of a warm welcome in the Ballyliffin clubhouse, from where you can take a pint of the black stuff while looking out to the rugged beauty of the Atlantic coast. Ballyliffin is unquestionably Irish golf and hospitality at its finest.
