Course overview
The European Club links were designed by Pat Ruddy who until this day continues to uphold the links to meet the challenges of the modern game therefore allowing the champions of today to express themselves while demanding a cerebral approach for true success. The origin of the golf links are the sandy deposits, changed by the blown up wind and dropped by receding tides which link the beach to inland are by far the most exciting form of the game.
There are roughly 150 links in the world and Ireland holds the best of them, with the most exhilerating dunes and exciting golf designs matured through the years.
The European Club is situated south of Dublin and it features stunning sea views from nineteen of the twenty holes. With two extra holes you get to enjoy the game for longer.
This course is designed to be a challenging test for the top players of today and tomorrow. It is very much a links for the future as the game continues to evolve.
