Boasting some of the best facilities in the Aberdeen area, Newmachar Golf Club hosts two mature golf courses, The Hawkshill and The Swailend. The Hawkshill golf course opened for play in 1990 and measures in at 6,730 yards with strategically placed bunkers and water hazards the course is one of the tougher tests in the area. The Swailend is a little younger opening in 1997 and slightly more forgiving although still a good test with well positioned bunkers and subtle contours on the greens. If you've left a few shots out on the golf course, you can always visit the Academy which has excellent practice facilities including long and short game areas and covered bays.
