Founded in 1786, Crail Golfing Society is the 7th oldest golf club in the world. The club offers two excellent links golf courses, the Balcomie Links and the Craighead Links course. Designed by Gil Hanse, the Craighead is a challenging cliff-top links with stunning views over the Fife coast stretching up to 100 miles. Opening in 1998 the course has hosted many prestigious tournaments in its short life including The World Junior Open in 2000, Seniors Home Internationals and the Scottish Amateur Team Championships. If you can't decide between this and the Balcomie, you can get a combination ticket which gives you access to both golf courses.
