American Rickie Fowler claimed the Scottish Open in 2015, so if you want to see how your skills match up with one of the top golfers in the world, head for Gullane, the scene of his triumph, and try one of the three courses on offer.   Gullane is situated along the North Sea coast next to Aberlady Bay. The club boasts three courses with spectacular scenery – views of nature’s finest to console you should your golf have an off day. The courses are simply named Gullane 1, 2 and 3, but that’s where the simplicity stops. Gullane 1, is the links course that hosted Fowler’s triumph. Dating back to the 1880s it is set to host the Scottish Open again in 2018.
