Balfron Golf Society is an 18 hole, par 72 course 6 miles from Loch Lomond. The club has an interesting history having originally being dissolved and the land was dedicated for agriculture during World War II. Reopened by several locals in 1991, the course has gone from strength to strength. A series of developments has meant the re-opended 9 hole course has been quickly transformed into the 18 hole Shian Course that is open for play today.
