Course overview
Thonock Park is situated in the heart of the Lincolnshire countryside. Not only is the home to two stunning 18-hole courses, the club also features excellent facilities, including eight boutique guest rooms, a stunning 19th, a 12-bay floodlit driving range and PING European Fitting Centre.
The two courses (Thonock Park and Karsten Lakes) offer dependable year-round play, with well-manicured fairways and true greens.
The Thonock Park course, after being played on for over 90 years, was revamped in 1985 by former Ryder cup player, Brian Waites. At 6,223 yards (par 70), it’s not the longest of courses but with tree-lined fairways, true greens and stunning views of the Lincolnshire countryside, it offers an enjoyable day for all levels of golfers.
The Karsten Lakes course on the other hand was only opened in 1997. It was designed by legendary English golfer, Neil Coles. At 6,900 yards (par 72) from the back tees, it offers a very different challenge to the Thonock Park course. Strategically placed bunkers and prominent water features on many holes provide a greater test than any course in the region.
