Course overview
Within the beautiful surroundings of the Brocket Hall Estate, you'll find two championships golf courses. Appropriately named after the Prime Ministers who once lived on the estate, Lord Palmerston and Lord Melbourne, both are quintessentially British in design.
The Melbourne Course was design by former Ryder Cup golfers Peter Alliss and Clive Clark and opened in 1992. The Palmerstone Course is slightly newer having opened for play in 2000. Designed by Donald Steel & Martin Ebert, the course has a slightly different feel with less water and hazards more in the form of the estates 500 year old Oak trees.
Both are exceptionally well maintained, with no winter greens and offer a completely different challenge for golfers of all abilities. Together they combine to make Brocket Hall one of the best golf clubs in Stevenage.
