Designed by Colt and Braid, Northumberland Golf Club lives up to the fame of both architects that have contributed to the layout.
The course has its individual challenges including a number of holes that allow you to play over or alongside the on site horse race track, Newcastle Racecourse.
The club is held with high regard, recognised as one of the best courses Newcastle and the North East. It regularly hosts national and regional championships, including the Open Regional Qualifier.

One of the best in the area
Northumberland is an excellent golf course and quite unique with a number of the holes crossing or alongside Newcastle racecourse with which it shares its grounds. Each time I've played the course it's been in great condition regardless of the weather the previous day. Theres a nice clubhouse too with a good bar and food.
