Course overview
Set in the beautiful Cheshire countryside, Wychwood Park is a stylish and modern hotel and golf club. Located close to the town of Crewe, the course is within easy access to Junction 16 of the M6 and Crewe train station, making it an ideal place for a comfortable weekend break.
As well as a hotel with 113 rooms, meeting rooms and function suites, the Wychwood Park Hotel offers an excellent golf course, regarded as one of the premier inland courses in the north of England.
The Championship course is a monster at 7,213 yards from the back tees providing the ultimate challenge for golfers (albeit there are five sets of tees to choose from, including the front tees which bring the slope rating from 151 to 132). Wherever you tee off from, the course features USGA-specification greens, magnificent fairways, troublesome water hazards, and spectacular views of the rolling Cheshire countryside.
Despite only opening in 2002, Wychwood Park has hosted European Tour Q school and PGA Europro Tour events to add to its growing reputation.
