The Stand Golf Club only 5 miles north of Manchester and less than a mile from the M62, has been welcoming visitors and newcomers for years.  The course is renowned to be one of the finest in the area. Built on sand sub-soil, it is playable all year round for members, visitors and societies. The club have good practice facilities, two nets, chipping green and putting green near the first tee.
