High up in the hills of Lancashire, Darwen Golf Club is as good a test of golf as you'll find in the area. Naturally being high up, the course offers some panoramic views over Lancashire and as far as Blackpool where on a clear day you can spot The Big One and Blackpool Tower. Areas of the course also overlook the Ribble Valley and Darwen Tower so there's always something to look at when playing here. That's not to take anything away from the golf course itself. A challenging yardage considering the undulations, the half moorland half parkland will test your physical fitness if not your golfing game.
