Course overview

Ferndown Golf Club is one of the South West of England’s premier 27-hole venues.

The Old Course (18 hole) and Allis Course (9 hole) make up the 27 holes on offer at the club. The Old Course originally opened for play in 1913 and has gone on to become one of the top clubs in Dorset, ranking in the Top 100 in the UK & Ireland and in England’s Top 100.

A classic heathland course, it’s designed to both challenge and delight players of all levels. The well positioned bunkers, subtle hazards coupled with the beautiful heathland setting will stimulate your senses. Both courses are fairly level courses and are easily walked, making for 27 holes of pure enjoyment.

From the moment you step onto the 1st tee you will be following in the footsteps of some of the best players to grace the game, such as Faldo, Jacklin, Langer, Lyle and Norman who have who have all teed it up here here in the European Tour’s Hennessy Cognac Cup that was hosted here over the years.
