Course overview
Originally designed by Dr. Alistair MacKenzie, Sand Moor Golf Club is one of the best golf courses in Leeds, situated just 5 miles outside the city centre. First opening in 1926, the course is a championship layout having been updated by Sir Henry Cotton in the 1960's to bring the course in line with the modern era. It stands at just over 6,400 yards consisting of three par 5s and is better known for it's four challenging par 3 holes which each vary in length and style. The course offers stunning views over the Eccup reservoir, which makes it an enjoyable round for all golfers.
