Close House is set in the beautiful Tyne Valley, a short distance from Newcastle city centre. The 250 year old Close House estate grounds have been transformed into two excellent golf courses, The Colt and Filly courses, both endorsed by Lee Westwood. The Lee Westwood Colt Course is the most prestigious of the two having reached the Top 100 courses in the UK & Ireland and more recently hosted The British Masters in 2017 despite only opening in May 2011.
