Course overview
The Mere Golf Course is set in 150 acres of Cheshire parkland and was designed by James Braid in 1934. Today, the Championship course has a reputation as one of the best golf courses in the North of England, acknowledged with the hosting of Regional Open Qualifying. The course is surrounded by mature trees and with stunning views over the Mere Lake and is sure to test your precision and driving skills, with water, ravines and thick rough incorporated into the design. The facilities at The Mere’s golf course are second to none offering players a complete floating golf ball driving range (hitting into the lake), a two-tier chipping green, a putting green and bunker practice area where players can warm up before a round.
