West Sussex is everybody's idea of what a good golf course should be. The beautiful backdrop of the Sussex Downs with it's imperial terrain of pine and heather.  It is the variation of  individual holes that eludes the courses charm and challenge which is something rarely achieved. Originally opened in 1931 The West Sussex Golf Club was designed by three magnificent golf architects, Hutchison, Campbell & Hotchkin. They are acknowledged to have created one of the most natural and aesthetically pleasing heathland courses in England.
