Course overview

Bath Golf Club is one of the oldest golf clubs in the South West of England, dating back to 1880 when it was founded as Kingsdown G.C.

It later moved to Bathampton Down, above the World Heritage City of Bath. Over its history, the course has had input from two of the most respected golf courses architectes; Harry Colt and James Braid, making it one of the best golf courses in the Bath area.

The 18 hole course offers challenging golf with enviable views and has been recognised as a hidden gem by Golf World. Stretching to 6,464 yards, it’s not the longest course by any means, but the variety and contours from its hilltop location make it a fair test for all players.

Springy downland turf with free draining fairways ensures the course is in excellent condition all year round.

The club has excellent facilities including a driving range and practice putting green ensuring you’re ready for your round. You’re also guaranteed a warm welcome and a good meal in the clubhouse or on the terrace.
