Course overview
Scarborough North Cliff Golf Club was establidhed back in 1909 but the present course layout dates back to 1928 and was designed by James Braid.
Like a number of golf courses in and around Whitby on the North East coast, it starts on the cliff top before moving inland, with the fairways threading through the trees providing fantastic views of the North Yorkshire Moors. The final three holes on the course return to the cliff top with glorious sea views across the North Bay.
Given its cliff top location, the course is farily undulating without being excessive, creating a tough but fair test for all golfers. It is without doubt one of the best golf courses in Scarborough.
